Juniors

The Juniors program is where serious students are made. Ages 10–12 train with advanced fundamentals, sharper technique, and a stronger focus on leadership and self-discipline.

Juniors bridge the gap between the kids programs and teen training. They're pushed harder, held to a higher standard, and given real leadership responsibilities within the school. This is the program where kids start becoming young martial artists.

What You'll Learn

Advanced kickboxing combinations and footwork
Wrestling and takedown defense
Ground defense and escape techniques
Leadership and peer mentorship skills
Emotional discipline under pressure
Belt and stripe progression
Preparation for teen-level training

What to Expect

Classes are 60 minutes. The pace is faster and the expectations are higher than the younger programs. Students are treated with respect and challenged to rise to it.

Common Questions

How is this different from the Warriors program?

The Juniors program moves faster, goes deeper, and carries higher expectations. Students are expected to lead by example and help set the tone for younger students.

Can my 10-year-old join if they've never trained before?

Yes. We'll assess where they are and place them appropriately. Some beginners start in Warriors first — we'll let you know what makes sense after the trial class.

Is there a belt system?

Yes. The same belt and stripe progression applies. Juniors often advance faster because of their age and ability to absorb technique.

What makes a student ready to move to the Teens program?

Age, maturity, and skill level all factor in. Will evaluates each student individually and will recommend the move when the time is right.
